Residential Services
The primary goal of our residential programs is to help each individual live safely and securely, reach their personal goals and transition to their identified permanent living environment. Each resident will have the opportunity to participate in social, cultural and community events as they arise.

HOPE provides temporary residential placement, assessment, and permanency planning services for street youth. HOPE beds represent a key strategy for engaging youth missing from care to return to their home or care. Youth may self-refer or be referred by Children’s Administration but not by law enforcement. Evaluations for physical health, mental health, chemical dependency, and education are facilitated if necessary and results are documented. Eligible youth may be admitted for up to 72 hours and then should either be placed in the HOPE Center for services or returned to their parent or guardian.
- Are unable to successfully live in a foster home;
- Have emotional disturbances or physical or mental disabilities;
- Are medically fragile; or
- Are in transition from residential care to a foster home.
Our programs typically serve kids and youth with developmental disabilities on a long term basis. Service planning is open to include the child’s team to assist with care however possible, by facilitating team meetings, inviting family to medical appointments and team members to Individual Education Planning (IEP) meetings. The programs focus on the following: safety and security (medical needs), positive behavior support, independence, individualized care, family involvement and community involvement. The programs include planning to identify permanent plans for the youth and establish a solid transition plan to identified permanent placements where applicable. In addition, there are several other contracts served through our LSR homes including Voluntary Placement, Extended Foster Care, Medically Fragile, and more.
