Washington Workfirst
WorkFirst services are provided to parents who currently receive TANF (Temporary Assistance for Needy Families). Our services are designed to help you maximize participation in WorkFirst activities, provide current work experience, increase your job skills and ultimately find ongoing employment!
We partner with the Department of Social and Health Services (DSHS) through your local Community Service Office (CSO) and the State Department of Commerce to provide our WorkFirst services. If you are interested in any of these services, talk to your DSHS Case Manager or Program Specialist about which service may be right for you.

Parents in our WorkFirst services will have, depending on individual circumstances:
- Opportunity to participate in Job Clubs to enhance your job search process, learn and gain resources from the facilitator and peers.
- Training opportunities to increase Life Skills, and other workplace Skills
